About the Station
Baifu Station is located between Cidu and Wudu. It’s the second simple station established after Sankeng Station in the northern area of Taiwan, after the Railway Rapid Transit Systematization policy was implemented by our Bureau. The first floor of the station consists of the platform, the electrical power room, and signs. The second floor consists of the station hall, a ticket booth, Men and Women’s bathrooms, and elevators. During the first phase of construction, the passengers for north bound and south bound will use the second platform. The first platform will be in use after the 3-tracks are completed.

Baifu Station is classified as a simple station. It was scheduled to officially begin its operation on May 8th, 2007. It's a stop used for the local trains only and is scheduled with 69 runs northbound and 68 runs southbound. The total of runs is 137. After the station becomes operational, it will provide a safer and speedier rail transportation service to the surrounding communities; at the same time the station’s main building can be used as the overpass for people from the community of Chang-an Street and the community of Baifu and makes it easier for the locals to cross the street. There are 60 parking spaces for cars and motorcycles. It’s predicted that after the station is operational, it will help bring about the development of the tourism industry and other industries around the communities of Baifu and Chang-an.

Baifu Station is located right next to the Keelung River. The design of the station incorporates the concepts of environmental/energy saving-friendly and modernized sleekness. Its design is parallel to the design of Shijian Bridge [實踐橋]. One particular point of interest is the fact that reinforced transparent glass is used for the stairs, the main building, and many other locations on the overpass. There’s the Keelung River in front of the station and there's a hill behind it. During May, the Paulownia flower blossom around the station, painting it elegantly. The river and the hill work with the bustling cars traveling different directions to create a picturesque presentation, which makes a beautiful and comfortable rail-riding environment for travelers.
