This high-tech, intelligent, high-rise building consists of 33 floors on the ground and four floors in the basement, at a height of 140.5 m. will provide high quality, highly efficient, and first-rate services to the people in Taipei Province. With the goal of accommodating 3500 civil service workers to provide services to 4.5 million (currently 3.63 millions) people, the new Provincial Administrative Building will communicate with the pavement in the new Banciao Station, after the building has been opened. By connecting the Hsin Fu Road and the underground passage of Jhancian Road, passengers can travel to and fro in all directions, and it is convenient to travel to the Provincial Government. In addition, it is possible to make an application in a one-stop procedure. It is predicted that this administrative business district will develop into Taipei Provincial Administrative Business and Industrial Center. In the future, the Provincial Disaster Response Center and Traffic Control Center will be set up on the ninth floor of this building. Due to the establishment of the Traffic Control Center, it can suitably control major traffic intersections of the county. By displaying transmission signals, the peak traffic volume at the peak hours can be adjusted, so as to solve the problem of traffic jam. Due to the establishment of the Disaster Response Center, by keeping the people informed of relief status and disaster status via satellites and SNG connection, it is possible to protect people’s life and property.
