》Kaohsiung County Cheng Ching Lake Baseball Field

》Grand Hotel
The five-star international hotel in Kaohsiung was built in 1971. 》Caogong Temple
It was once called “Caogong Shrine” in memory of the Fongshan County magistrate Cao Jin who had considered the people as his relatives. He also induced water from Kaoping River (once called Siadanshuei River) and built a dam for irrigate farms; thus, the suffering from the drought was released and people had a happy life. People then called him “Caogong” in respect. The induced water dam was called “Caogong Dam” and the road in front of Fongshan train station is called “Caogong Rd.”.

》Lungshan Temple
It was first established in Quanlong period, 200 years from now. The interior structures and sculptures were preserved works of Qianlong and Jiaching periods. There is a Worship Pavilion between front hall and the main building and the roofs are connected with one another, shaping the entire structure as a character of “工” . The mud sculpture outside of the temple is worth visiting too.

》Fengyi School
It was established during Jiacing ruling and once served as a school and an examination hall in the early days. Without appropriate management, the school was unbearably broken, it was then even took over by renters. At present, there are only the decorated archway at the entrance, platform and the rear hall preserved.

》Donbian Gate
It was established during Jiacing ruling and once called “Tongyi Gate” built by the county magistrate Wu Zhao-Lin. Dongbian Gate was the main road to the city at the time. Over the gate, there was a moat around the city along with “Dongfu Bridge”, as the only existing four-arched bridge in Taiwan, it has been declared as a Grade-Three historic site.

》Jiaju (furniture) Street
It is located Sanmin Rd right in front of Lungshan Temple. Over a half of the street, all stores, extending as close to 1 km long, sell furniture and Buddha worshiping tables, which can be called the most representative street in Fongshan City. Walking here, one soon will smell the delicate wood fragrance and it is excellent too that the road was laid with red green tiles.
