It was established as Fanzihtian Loading and Unloading Lot on Apr. 20 1902 and it was changed to a parking lot on Jun. 1 the same year.  On Mar. 31 1904, the operation was suspended and then restarted on May 15 1905.  In 1920, it was then changed to Fanzihtian Post, and again, the station name was changed to Longtian on Mar. 1 1955.  The current station was rebuilt in 1958.

The old name of Longtian Station was Fanzihtian Post and our President Chen once commuted here for school.  Your visit is welcome!  Linfongyin Station is the structure of Japanese style and the Lotus World in front of the station is worth visiting.

This station is located close to the central point of Tainan County with Shanhua in the south, Madou in the west, Lioujia, Danei in the east and Siaying and Liouyin in the north.  There are those organizations and schools such as,Servicemen Training Center, Guantian Industrial District, Southern Training Center, Bureau of Employment and Vocational Training, Longtian Winery, Tainan National University of the Art and Diwan College of Management in the neighborhoods.

》The Ancient Estate of President Chen
The Chen’s ancient estate is located at Sihjhuang Village Guantian Township and it became very famous after Chen Shuei-bian became a national President.  It is now new-rising tourist’s attraction.  The tourist will pack up this place during holidays.

Tainan County is next to both the mountains and the ocean and located in the south west of Taiwan Island. Its topography is erect on the east and flat on the west within the center of Chianan Plain, the greatest plain in Taiwan and neighboring the front mountain zone of the Central Mountain in the east.  This is the earliest developed area in Taiwan.  The whole county is in the south of the Tropic of Cancer, belonging to sub-tropical zone.  The weather is mild and the agriculture is bountiful; among them, the areas covered the paddy fields, dry farmland, fish ponds, salt fields, lotus fields and water chestnut field are No. 1 in Taiwan.

Guantian Township is located at the central zone of Tainan County with active agriculture and convenient traffic.  In this village with simple and pure folk culture, a public-selected President was born there; thus, it is exactly like what they said “the spiritual land with excellent leader.”

》Tsomalai Farm
Tsomalai Farm is the leisure farm managed by Tainan County Farmers’ Association and located at the border of Yujing and Danei County.  Because of Tsengwun River surrounds three sides of this area, the water of the river runs like horse galloping, it was then named Tsomalai (meaning water runs like horse galloping).  The size of New Zealand Ranch in this farm is 40 hectares, so vast and so magnificent, just walking around, it will definitely remove your tiredness of the day.  There are more than 30 terms of amazement facilities provided in this farm.  It is a good selection for leisure and vacation.

》Wusanto Reservoir Scenery Area
Wusanto Dam was named after it location in the west of Wushanling.  Because its shape is like corals, it is also named Coral Lake.  It was designed by a Japanese engineer-Waata Yoyichi making the natural river valley a great dike to take water from Guantian River.  However, Guantian River is just a small river that not having sufficient water resource, then developing intake channels in Wushanling to take water from Tsengwen Dam; thus, the water resources are stable to supply various water demands like agricultural, industrial and municipal uses in Chianan areas.

》Entrance Park  
It is located at the southern park of the Wusanto Scenery Park entrance.  It is full of the atmosphere of the southern oceanic countries.

》The Temple of Heaven
It was erected by copying the Temple of Heaven in Beijin, the structure style is classical and elegant, solemn and dignifying.

》Wusanto Reservoir
The structure of the dam is semi-hydraulic filled earth dam and the height is 56 m, crest height 66.66 m, effective storage 58.18 m high, crest length 1,273 m, crest width 9m and the bottom 30 m wide.  The way of the dikes built adapted the engineer method of “semi-hydraulic filled technique” for the first time in South-eastern Asia; which used the mixtures of extreme minor amount of concrete and    major amount of big rocks, small rocks, soil rocks, river sand and clay to build the dikes.

》Longtian Winery
The current location of Lontian Winery was once a chemical factory built by Japanese during their rule.  After Taiwan restoration, Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Corporation had set this place as a factory to produce aspergilli, specified in producing Kao Liang (broomcorn) wine aspergilli.  In 1969, the factory was moved back to Chiayi Winery and so Longtian Alcohol Refining Factory was then established, producing the refining alcohol and medical alcohol.  On Aug. 14 1982, it extended the Kao Liang wine factory merging with alcohol refining factory then the name was changed to Longtian Winery, increasing the production such as, Shenrong (young sea cucumber) wines, Lurong (young pilose antler) wines, delicate-fragant Kao Liang wines, Erguotou and so on.

》The Lotus World 
It is located in Lioujia Township of Tainan County and Mr. Lin, Shen-jing who was once rewarded as one of the first-year Ten Excellent Farm Village Youth, established it.  Mr. Lin and his wife, Chang, Meilian used to work on aquaculture and somehow they started to plant the lotus over ten years ago.  With a great interest in this, they gave up their original career-the aquatic products industry; instead they focused on cultivating the fragrant lotus, classified as American lotus type.  The fragrant lotus improved by both of them can bloom all year round with glittering colors; nevertheless, all of them are sending out fragrance.  That’s not all, they also pluck and wash the lotuses, cut off the sepals and then baked dry the flower buds to make fragrant lotus tea.  After pouring hot water on this fragrant lotus tea, delicate fragrant is soon sending out, they also said it has the abilities to calm one’s nerve and every kind of therapy.
