Sincheng Station, once called the Southern End of the North Link Line Administration Office, started to operate the transportation of cement and clinker【it is bulk cement only now】from Asia Cement Hualien Factory to Hualien Port as its main operation. After the North Link Line was completed on February 1, 1980, Sincheng Station got this name as we call it now.

Note: The North Link Line construction started on December 25, 1973, and it was built from 2 ends which are the north end and south end simultaneously. The line between Sincheng and Hualien began the operation of the cement shipment for Asia Cement Ltd.

》Sincheng Church
Sincheng Church is near to Sincheng Park in Sincheng City Area. It was 【Sincheng Shinto Shrine】 memorial to the victims of 【Sincheng Incident】during Japanese colonized period.
》Special Agricultural Products Trade Show Visitor Center
Special Agricultural Products Trade Show Visitor Center is located on the right side of Shunan Section, Tai-Chiu Line (Sincheng – Hualien) and offers the related traveling information for the tourists. Here you can find the demonstration of Sincheng pickled cabbage making process, Taro-like Sweet Potato Hall, the life history introduction of Yam, and Asplenium antiquum liquor making process.
》Sincheng Seawall
You can walk from Sincheng City Area and head to the sea. Until walking to the end, you can reach Sincheng Seawall. Here is the place that you are able to see all Hualien Coast and Chongde Coast.
》Sanjhan River Gorge
You can go in the direction (Sincheng to Hualien) and turn right before passing Sanjhan Huai-en Bridge to arrive Sanjhan River Gorge. Sanjhan River Gorge is also called “Little Taroko.” The water is pure and clear; Sanjhan River Gorge is the origin place of Rosestone.
》Taroko
Taroko National Park is a famous tourist attraction. It takes around 6 minutes to go there by car from Sincheng Station.

》Traveling and transportation
Taroko Bridge started to operate in February, 2002. It reduces the traffic time between Sincheng and Chongde. It takes under 10 minutes to arrive in Cingshuei Cliff from Sincheng Station. Since the roadways between Sincheng Station and Taroko Scenic Area have been widened, and Taroko Bridge absorbs partial traffic flow, to drive on the roadways to Taroko are smooth and comfortable. It takes around 6 minutes.
》The station and the public transportations
The population in Sincheng Station Area is quite small. Thus, the traffic flow is low. There are foreign/ domestic tour groups or student groups visiting Taroko occasionally. The special scheduled shuttle bus- Formosa Star- stop at Sincheng Station at 1:45PM from Monday to Saturday.
