→June 1947: The first section of operations was set up, having jurisdiction over Keelung to Yangmei, different stations of Tamshui, Keelung, Huashan, and Taipei Station.
→October 18 1948: It was renamed the Division of Taipei Transportation, having jurisdiction over Keelung to Yangmei, different stations of Tamshui and Sindian, Keelung, Taipei, and Huashan Station.
→March 1 1953: Due to the expansion of the Division of Keelung Operations, its jurisdiction was changed from Huashan to Chungli, different stations of Tamshui Line and Sindian Line, Taipei and Huashan Station.
→March 5 1965: The Chungho Line opened.
→March 25 1965: The Sindian Line terminated its services.
→January 1 1968: The Linko Line opened.
→November 25 1977: Nankang switchyard and Songshan Station were incorporated into this section.
→February 16 1982: Some of the stations under the Division of Keelung Transportation and the Division of Hsinchu Transportation have their jurisdiction changed from Keelung to Siangshan, Neiwan Line, Linko Line, Tamshui Line, Chungho Line, and Keelung, Taipei, and Hsinchu Train Schedule Section.
→1986: The Huashan Station was removed.
→July 15: 1988: The Tamshui Line terminated its services.
→September 22 1990: The Chungho Line terminated its services.
→May 8 2000: This section was relocated from its original location at No.3, Beiping W. Rd., Jhongjheng District,Taipei City 100, Taiwan (R.O.C.) to No.319, Kangding Rd., Wanhua District, Taipei City 108, Taiwan (that is Wanhua Station.)
→June 1 2002: The Wudu Station was downgraded from a third-class station to a simple station (which was then
managed by Sijhih Station.)
→October 10 2003: The Nanhe Station was permitted to be renamed “Fu Quei Station.”
→November 1 2004: This section was changed from its original location at No.319, Kangding Rd., Wanhua District, Taipei City 108, Taiwan (that is Wanhua Station) to 1A, No.7, Sec. 2, Sianmin Blvd., Banciao City, Taipei County 220, Taiwan (Banchiao Station.)
→August 3 2005: The Cidu Switchyard opened, and the original Nankang Switchyard was simultaneously moved.
